About Our Expertise

Who We Are

Island Infrastructure Solutions is a Long Island–based firm specializing in civil design support and project coordination, founded by Osman Tokhi, a civil engineering professional with extensive experience in transportation, site/civil, and structural work throughout New York. We assist municipalities, contractors, and developers with essential services such as CAD drafting, quantity takeoffs, bid packaging, permitting coordination, and construction administration support. When a professional engineer’s seal is needed, we collaborate with NY-licensed Professional Engineers who assume responsible charge for that scope. Our focus is straightforward: clear scope, accurate deliverables, tight schedules, and dependable communication from kickoff to closeout.

What We Do


  • CAD Drafting & Modeling — Plan/profile sheets, details, and as-builts.
     
  • Quantity Takeoffs & Estimating — Measured quantities and preliminary cost opinions.
     
  • Transportation Support — MOT/TCP exhibits; signing & striping; PE-stamped design by partners when required.
     
  • Site/Civil Support — Grading and utility layout; drainage exhibits; PE-led design when required.
     
  • Structural Drafting — Shop drawings, connection details, and rebar lists; PE design as needed.
     
  • Bids & Permitting — Bid packaging, forms, capability statements; permitting submittals & tracking.
     
  • Project & Construction Support — Schedules, QA/QC, RFI/submittal logs, and punch-list management.
